The main reason for subtle variations in flavor is the composition and choice of tobacco leaves. A cigar is roughly composed of three types of leaves:

Wrappers: The outermost leaves of the cigar lend color and characteristic to the cigar. They determine the choice of designation used for the cigar.

Fillers: The combination of fillers decides the flavor and blend of the cigar. They are wrapped-up bunches of tobacco leaves in a variety of cuts and styles.

Binders: Bunches of fillers are held together using elastic leaves called a binder.

For cigar smokers, various cigar accessories have become a fashion trend. Cigar cutters are used to remove or penetrate the cap of a cigar before it’s smoked. Similarly Cigar holders can prevent damage and breakage, while a filter can block short cut fillers from entering your mouth.
